USACE – Little Goose Dam Station Service Transformer Replacement

At Little Goose Dam in Dayton, Washington, Olsson Industrial Electric replaced critical station service equipment to improve safety and reliability. Work included removing two existing transformers, designing and installing new oil-filled transformers, completing digital trip retrofits for breakers, removing the existing CO2 suppression system, and adding new oil containment curbing, fire dampers, and fire-rated vault walls and doors.

USACE – John Day Dam Station Service Transformer and Load Tap Changer Replacement

At John Day Dam in Goldendale, Washington, Olsson Industrial Electric completed critical station service transformer and load tap changer upgrades for USACE. The project included removal and replacement of two existing transformers, new oil-filled transformer installation, upgraded remote controls and lockouts, and replacement of multiple 15kV, 5kV, and 600V feeder cables serving the facility.

Greenberry Industrial – Shell New Energies Biomethane Plant

For Shell New Energies’ Biomethane Plant in Junction City, Oregon, Olsson Industrial Electric installed electrical systems supporting a wide range of packaged process equipment. The project included power distribution centers, digesters, straw handling, flare, dewatering, gas upgrade, controls, lighting, and heat trace systems, along with onsite project management and commissioning support provided in coordination with OS Engineering.

PCA Wallula – Overall Plant Upgrades

From 2018-2023, Olsson Industrial Electric completed over 300 electrical projects for the Wallula Paper Mill. Chambers Construction – Northern Gold Foods

For Northern Gold Foods in Junction City, Oregon, Olsson Industrial Electric designed and installed the electrical systems for a new 320,000-square-foot manufacturing facility. Scope included a new transformer and switchboard, plant-wide power distribution, lighting, grounding, HVAC and fire alarm components, diesel fire pump electrical, and complete electrical systems for office and meeting spaces, supported by in-house electrical engineering.

NNAC Construction – Grand Coulee Fire Station

At the Grand Coulee Fire Station in Washington, Olsson Industrial Electric delivered design-build style electrical services to help create a highly functional finished facility. The project included backup power, transfer switching, panelboards, lighting controls, and window tinting, while Olsson also managed multiple subcontractors covering fire alarm, audiovisual, intercom, security, and communications systems, plus provided project management support.

Georgia Pacific – Toledo Mill Core Network and Wi-Fi Upgrade

For Georgia Pacific’s Toledo Mill in Oregon, Olsson Industrial Electric completed a comprehensive core network and Wi-Fi upgrade to improve plant-wide connectivity and future scalability. The project included fiber and business ethernet upgrades, more than 225 wireless access points, new MDF and IDF cabinets, backup UPS systems, and full commissioning, testing, and as-built documentation completed to TIA standards.
