PCA Wallula – Overall Plant Upgrades
SCOPE OF WORK
From 2018-2023, Olsson Industrial Electric completed over 300 electrical projects for
the Wallula Paper Mill. With (3) fully functioning paper machines, the Wallula Mill can
integrate over 200,000 tons of containerboard. Completed projects included, but were
not limited to, the following:
OCC Facility Upgrade; including the demolition of existing infrastructure and
installation of new electrical infrastructure in the existing 180,000 SF building.
Dollar value – $5,440,000
Woodyard Automation Upgrade; consisted of a new 3000A service to power (2)
automated chip conveyors and associated equipment.
Dollar Value – $6,000,000
W3 Drives Upgrade; consisted of installation of (6) new 480V drive line-ups and
all associated electrical components including a new 4000A electrical service to
each line-up.
Dollar Value – $3,100,000
Overall plant maintenance and various smaller projects over the 6-year span
Dollar value range – $10,000 – $700,000 (Over 300 Total Projects)
Provided onsite project management support and assisted with scoping various projects
with plant personnel.
