The overall scope of work consisted of demolition and replacement of the existing electrical power system.
Design, manufacturing, and replacement of the following:
2000A 4160V SP Switchgear and associated control boards, comeplete with relays, meters, and controls
Double-ended 48V switchgear
(2) Dry-type 500 kVA substation transformers
High-resistance grounding system
(3) Motor control centers
(3) 480V panelboards
Preferred AC and DC system
175kW diesel engine-generator, fuel tank, and automatic transfer switches. This included modifications to the spillway structure to allow for new installation
Replacement of existing cable tray and conduit systems, power, and control wiring.
Replacement and design of new SCADA PLC and ER Cabinets
Upgrade and replace existing powerhouse ventilation system
Engineering support as well as in-house controls integration for 4160V and double-ended switchgear.
