OLSSON TO EXHIBIT AT HYDROVISION 2018

A year ago this month, Olsson Vice President and Director of Engineering, Martin “Marty” Stoddard, presented the findings of his white paper, Lessons Learned from Renovating Station Service Distribution Systems on Operating Hydroelectric Power Plants, at the 2017 HydroVision International Conference in Denver, Colorado. In his paper, Marty discussed the pros and cons of equipment replacement and retrofitting, and how the commissioning of newly installed or retrofitted equipment impacts plant operations, cost and safety in the field.

As one of Olsson’s key leaders, Marty has a broad range of experience in control systems and power system design and analysis. He currently heads OS Engineering, a full-service engineering firm and division of Olsson that provides complete electrical design and installation for hydropower plants of all sizes.
